Children are the force that move and motivate us to do things as best we can.
For this reason we would like to propose some ideas adapted according to age, to help make your children’s celebrations truly unforgettable.

CELEBRATIONS FOR BABIES AND TODDLERS:

Your child’s first birthday parties is a wonderful opportunity to unite family and friends and enjoy a memorable occasion. The star of the show is invariably your baby and with a little effort you can organise a party which is fun for everyone. It’s best to organise something small to avoid unnecessary stress. With just a few simple balloons and decorations you can decorate and light up your home.

Prepare a buffet style layout of sandwiches, snacks and refreshments so that your guests can serve themselves and you won’t have to be waiting hand and foot on any of your family members or friends. Ensure there’s a special children’s corner in one of the rooms so that they can play together and have some fun Don’t make the celebration too long as children get tired easily with so much stimulation.

PARTIES FOR CHILDREN 3 TO 6 YEARS OLD:

At this age children really enjoy and get excited about their birthday parties. It’s a very special and magical day where your child is centre-stage and experiences moments of pure pleasure and fun and you can make this day unique and incredible for your birthday child. Your child can help prepare for the party by blowing up balloons, stuffing the piñata, drawing pictures to decorate the party room, prepare the games and competitions, make the party invitations . . .

If you get your child involved with the party planning their sense of anticipation is heightened and they will enjoy the party even more. Decorations can be homemade - garlands, drawings, and balloons – alternatively you can buy party decorations from specialised party shops. As with toddler parties it’s best to have buffet style food so that you can enjoy the party too. piñata

Weather permitting, the ideal scenario is to celebrate a birthday party outdoors. Swimming pools and gardens are great as you have space for tons of games and your children can run around and burn off some energy.

Game ideas include: fancy dress (with prize giving for the most original outfit), karaoke (organise your very own music festival), puppets (a puppet show will capture their attention), clowns (garanteed to thrill the youngest members of the audience), Piñata (all children love that moment when all the little surprises come tumbling out of the Piñata).

PARTIES FOR CHILDREN 7 TO 12 YEARS OLD:

At this age a birthday is a milestone. Children are completely aware of their staring role at the party and being surrounded by friends and presents makes this day a very magnificent and special event. Let them actively participate in the organisation, they will undoubtedly have plenty of creative ideas. They can help with the invitations, makes paper crowns, sandwiches, ... Prepare some activities and games so that the children don’t get bored and start climbing up the walls (gymkhanas, fancy dress contests, arts and crafts, treasure hunts, piñatas, etc).

Other party options include swimming parties, water parks, interactive museums, the theatre, cinema, zoos, planetarium, etc.

With these ideas and just a touch of imagination, you can embark on a colourful adventure with your children, full of laughter, fun and above all, tons and tons of humour!
