Not only is the artwork (including Savador Dali, Miro, and other modern artists) kid friendly (though you might think twice about bringing small children in to look at Picasso's Guernica), but this building has big glass elevators on its exterior making it fun to visit.

Keep in mind that the Goya went through a dark phase and many of his paintings are dark and might frighten the younger visitors.

This museum is located in Conde Duque and houses a collection of modern art, photography and sculpture.

Museo de Arte en Vidreo de Alcorcon (Glass Art Museum of Alcorcon)


The Alcorcón city Glass Art Museum, MAVA was inaugurated on October 23rd. 1997. The core of the MAVA permanent collection was formed on the one hand by Takako Sano´s donation of an important number of pieces from her private collection -over 60 works- and on the other by direct donations from several artists boosted by Javier Gómez. Nowadays, the Museums collection is constituted by over 160 exhibits. 
The Museum holds regular workshops for children at weekends.
