Tren de la Fresa - Strawberry Train to Aranjuez
Check with Atocha or Renfe for departure dates and times as these are seasonal
Special 19th century steam engine "Strawberry Train” ( “Tren de la Fresa”), from Atocha on Saturday and Sunday. Runs from April to October, except for August when the hot weather doesn't permit.
The ride includes strawberries served by costumed attendants on route, tour bus to and from the 18th century Bourbon Royal Palace, a guided visit (Spanish only). Lunch is on your own.

An environmental trip which takes us by train to the Sierra de Guadarrama, guided by specialised monitors from the Centro de Educación Ambiental Valle de la Fuenfría.

Tren Medieval - Medieval Train
As well as the city's vast rail offer, Madrid also has a special service called the Medieval Train, which transports passengers to a city as marvellous as Sigüenza. Travel back in time to the Middle Ages surrounded by minstrels on a train that departs every Saturday morning in March from Madrid Chamartín train station. It is a delight for passengers of all ages. Thanks to the guided tours, culture, entertainment and leisure are guaranteed.
