Children learn by playing

At SINEWS, we give great importance to bilingualism and our focus on teaching languages is very different from that of a traditional classroom.

We have joined forces with Enjoy Mandarin (a company that teaches Chinese through native caregivers) and designed a game plan adapted to different ages where the language is in the starring role.

We will learn the parts of our body through fun songs; we will play with a supermarket to learn the names of foods and expressions used to ask for something (i.e. asking how much  something costs…) while learning about China’s currency and its value; we will build a fun Who’s Who to learn to describe ourselves; we will make arts and crafts, hold contests, etc. 

With this playgroup, not only do we want kids that have a basic knowledge of Chinese to practice, but we also want to teach traditional games and songs that will allows them to learn more about the culture.

Times: Saturday mornings starting 17th September 2011.

Group 1- 3 to 5 year olds: from 10:15am to 11:45am
Group 2- 6 to 9 year olds: De 12:00pm to 1:30pm
